The second Seattle seminar with Seishiro Endo Shihan

On the weekend of April 7-9 2006 the Seattle Aikido community was treated to a wonderful event; the second annual seminar with Seishiro Endo, 8th Dan Aikikai, from Hombu Dojo, Tokyo. The seminar was hosted by Aikido Willapa Bay Seattle, and held in the spacious gymnasium of Seattle Central Community College.

The seminar was hosted by Naka Ima Aikikai. A group of us from Shoshin Aikdo Montreal drove out to Toronto and stayed at the dojo. Much thanks to Greg Angus Sensei, and the whole Naka Ima crew for showing us a great time, and organizing an excellent seminar.

I was a hydrologist for the U. S. Geological Survey for 43 years, and have been a hydraulic engineer for the South Carolina Department of Transportation for 4 years. I began Aikido in Atlanta in 1972. I studied with Rodney Grantham from 1972-79, Clyde Takeguchi and Gordon Sakamoto in Washington, DC, 1979-84, and have been sensei of Columbia Aikikai in Columbia, SC since 1984.
