Dojocho's blog

Welcome to CFAikido.com!

Whether you're new to the martial arts, new to the area, or looking for a closer dojo (school), visiting a new dojo can be filled with uncertainty and trepidation. I would encourage you to try as many dojo's in town as possible. You should select the school and style of aikido that you feel best fits your personality, goals, and heart. As your training will hopefully help you to learn and grow as a person, the most important thing is for you to become the person you want to be, not what anyone else wants to make you.

The path of Aikido creates caring people who strive for peace and harmony within themselves and with others. The Central Florida area offers many arts to choose from, with a wide variety of philosophies and ideals. I invite you to visit and train with us. If you have any questions about our group or classes, please contact me via our contact page.

The Art of Peace begins with you. Work on yourself and your appointed task in the Art of Peace. Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow...Foster peace in your own life and then apply the Art to all that you encounter.

Getting Back to Karate!

Dan Pham has been a good friend of mine for many years. Besides being a helluva guy, he's also a pretty accomplished karateka. Unfortunately, years of kata and kumite took their toll on Dan's hip. He was all but out of training for the past couple of years.

Well that's all changed! Dan just got a new hip and evidentally....HE'S BAACCKKK!!!
