“The movements of aikido are in perfect accord with the movements of the spirit. If one talks about spiritual matters or throwing his opponent without harming him— after having struck and kicked him—it’s not convincing. In aikido, we strengthen the body and mind through soft movements which are in harmony with nature.” Kisshomaru Ueshiba

We'll be traveling down to Boca to hold a workshop with Josh Drachman sensei of Aikido of Palm Beach County.
The main focus of the workshop will be to share our training methods having to do with the ukemi of Frank Ostoff sensei, who we've hosted in Orlando the past two years. The workshop will focus on:
Ostoff Sensei’s teaching concentrates on the connection between the physical and spiritual energy for both uke and nage. The awareness for this process develops relaxation, concentration and self confidence. Regardless of the style of Aikido you practice, his unique and good-natured teaching will help to refine your connection, adjust your alignment, and improve your relation between uke and nage.
